The Fear

I am afraid

I live in the limbo 

I left everything and they want me to leave it again

I feel worthless and criminalized

They told me I was like everyone else and I believed them.

Now that I am an adult they see me as a criminal when my only crime was to want a better life.

My status forces me to have strong character and I will not give up.

I will fight for what I believe and one can make me stop.

I refuse to be defined by a nine digit number 

I will not stay quiet when I was born yelling
